Is Canva down right now?

A live check of canva.com: we request its home page now and tell you whether the server answered, with which status and how fast, and whether its HTTPS certificate is valid. If it is up for us but not for you, the problem is probably on your side of the connection.

A domain or a pasted address. We request the site’s home page over HTTPS unless you type http://.

If Canva is down for you

Reload once, then try another network such as mobile data. If it works there, your connection, DNS resolver or a browser extension is the likely cause. If the check above says it is down too, the problem is the site’s, and waiting or following its status page is all anyone outside can do. The guides to HTTP and network errors explain each error message a browser shows.

Know the next time it goes down

A one-off check tells you about now. An Uptimely monitor checks canva.com every minute and alerts you by email, SMS, phone call, Slack, Discord or browser push the moment it stops answering, and again when it is back. 10 monitors are free, with no credit card.

Is Canva down right now?

The check at the top of this page answers that: it requests canva.com from Uptimely's checker each time the page is loaded (a result is reused for up to 60 seconds) and reports whether the server answered, with what status and how fast. If it says up but the site does not load for you, the problem is most likely between you and the site rather than the site itself.

Why is Canva not working for me when the check says it is up?

The check runs from one location on the internet. A site can be reachable from there and still fail for you because of your own network, your DNS resolver, a browser extension, an outage in your region, or a problem with your account rather than the whole service. Try another network (such as mobile data), clear the browser cache, and check the service's own status page for regional or partial incidents.

What does a 4xx or 5xx answer mean?

A 5xx status (500, 502, 503, 504) is a server-side error: the site is reachable but failing, and the check reports it as down. A 4xx status (403, 404, 429) means the server is up and answered, but refused or could not find the request. Some sites answer automated checks with 403 or 429 while working normally in a browser.

How can I get an alert when Canva goes down?

Can I run this check from a script or an AI agent?

Yes. GET https://getuptimely.com/api/tools/check?url=canva.com answers the same check as JSON, or as Markdown with the header Accept: text/markdown. It needs no API key and allows 30 calls a minute from one address.
