Frequently asked questions.
Everything about how Uptimely monitors, alerts, and bills — in one place.
What is Uptimely?
Uptimely (getuptimely.com) is an uptime monitoring, status page, and incident management platform by Devino Solutions. It combines scheduled monitoring of websites and infrastructure, branded public status pages, automated incident and alert workflows, on-call escalation, scheduled maintenance, and OpenTelemetry-based logs, traces, and metrics in a single product.
Who makes Uptimely?
Uptimely is built and operated by Devino Solutions. The product lives at getuptimely.com, with the application at app.getuptimely.com.
How does Uptimely check whether my site is up?
Uptimely runs a background sweep every minute. Each monitor that is due is claimed from the database and executed by a protocol-specific checker, which records the result, updates the monitor's status timeline when the state changes, and triggers alerts and notifications. Checks run at up to 1-minute frequency.
What types of monitors does Uptimely support?
Uptimely supports 14 monitor types, each with a dedicated checker: Website, API, Ping, IP, Port, SSL Certificate, DNS, Domain, External Status Page, Incoming Request (heartbeat / cron), Incoming Email (heartbeat), Custom JavaScript Code, Synthetic Monitor, and SNMP.
How do I set up uptime alerts for my site?
Create a monitor for your site, then choose who gets alerted: connect Slack or Discord for the whole project, or add yourself as the monitor's owner with a verified notification method. When a monitor changes state or an incident is declared, Uptimely dispatches notifications through its channels: Slack, Discord, email, SMS, voice call, and web push (browser). Personal notification methods are verified per user, and workspace channels (Slack, Discord) broadcast to the whole project. Alerts are recorded so delivery status is visible.
Which notification channels does Uptimely support?
Workspace broadcast channels: Slack and Discord. Personal notification methods: email, SMS, voice phone call, and web push (browser push via VAPID). Mobile device push is delivered through Notifly (FCM/APNs).
Does Uptimely have on-call and escalation?
Yes. Uptimely includes on-call duty policies with escalation rules: when an alert fires, escalation steps notify responders, wait a configured delay, check for acknowledgement, and escalate to the next rule if unacknowledged. Incidents, alerts, and on-call are available on the Free plan.
Can I publish a public status page?
Yes. Uptimely publishes branded public status pages that show your monitors' current and historical status, incidents, and scheduled maintenance. Visitors can subscribe to updates. The Free plan includes 1 status page; the Pro plan includes unlimited status pages.
Can I use my own domain for a status page?
Yes. Uptimely supports custom domains for status pages. When a request arrives on a domain that isn't the app's own hostname, Uptimely resolves it to the matching status page and serves it there, so you can host a page at, for example, status.yourcompany.com.
Does Uptimely support incidents and scheduled maintenance?
Yes. Uptimely runs the full incident lifecycle — declare, add timeline updates and public notes, change state, and resolve — and supports scheduled maintenance windows that can pause monitoring and notify subscribers when maintenance is scheduled, ongoing, and ended.
Does Uptimely collect logs, traces, and metrics?
Yes. Uptimely ingests OpenTelemetry (OTLP) logs, traces, and metrics through its OTLP endpoints and stores them in ClickHouse for querying. This lets you correlate telemetry with monitoring data in the same product.
Does Uptimely expose a Prometheus metrics endpoint?
Yes. Uptimely exposes a Prometheus-compatible /metrics endpoint carrying monitor status and response-time data, so you can scrape Uptimely's own signals into your existing Prometheus/Grafana stack.
Can I embed an uptime status badge?
Yes. Each public status page can serve an uptime status badge that you can embed in a README, docs site, or dashboard to display current status.
How much does Uptimely cost?
Uptimely has three plans. Free is $0 and includes 10 monitors, 1 status page, and 3 team members with 1-minute checks and incidents, alerts, and on-call. Pro is $29/month with unlimited monitors and status pages and up to 25 team members, and comes with a 14-day free trial. Enterprise is custom-priced for larger fleets.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever with no credit card required: 10 monitors, 1 status page, 3 team members, 1-minute checks, and full incident, alert, and on-call features.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You can start on the Free plan with no card. A card is only required when you choose to begin the 14-day Pro trial.
How does the free trial work?
The Pro trial lasts 14 days and requires a card up front. At the end of the trial you are charged $29/month unless you cancel first. You can cancel anytime in one click from Billing, and there is no charge if you cancel before the trial ends.
What happens if I hit a plan limit?
On the Free plan, once you reach a limit (10 monitors, 1 status page, or 3 team members) Uptimely shows an upgrade prompt instead of letting you create beyond the limit. Existing data is unaffected — you simply can't add more of that resource until you upgrade to Pro.
Is Uptimely self-hosted or cloud?
Uptimely is offered as a hosted cloud service at getuptimely.com. You sign up and use it directly; there is no infrastructure to run.
Where can I read Uptimely's privacy policy?
Uptimely's privacy policy is published at getuptimely.com/privacy, alongside its terms and legal pages.
How is Uptimely different from a monitoring-only tool?
Uptimely combines uptime monitoring, public status pages, incident management, on-call escalation, scheduled maintenance, and OpenTelemetry logs/traces/metrics in one product, so teams can replace a separate monitor + status page + on-call stack with a single tool.
Can I connect Uptimely to my AI coding agent?
Yes. The "Onboard your agent to Uptimely" pill (getuptimely.com/agent-setup) copies one sentence: "Fetch and execute the appropriate instructions to set me up for Uptimely from https://getuptimely.com/agent-setup/prompt.md". Paste that into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, or any other MCP-capable client and it registers Uptimely's remote MCP server itself, with OAuth 2.1 sign-in in your browser — no manual config required. It only asks for a project API key if you also want the @uptimely/sdk TypeScript SDK or the /v1 REST API.
