Is Uptimely on the App Store or Google Play?
Not yet. Uptimely installs from your browser on every platform today — iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows — and that installed app is the same product, with the same alerts. Store builds are planned; this page will carry the badges the day they are live, and never before.
What does installing actually change?
Three things. Uptimely gets its own icon and its own window instead of a browser tab, it opens straight on your dashboard rather than wherever you left the tab, and it can raise alerts as system notifications while the browser is closed. On iPhone and iPad, installing is the only way the browser can notify you at all — iOS 16.4 or later delivers web push only to a page on the home screen, and versions before that cannot deliver it at all.
Will it alert me when the browser is closed?
Yes, once you allow notifications. Incident, alert and on-call notifications arrive as system notifications on Android, Mac, Windows, and on iPhone or iPad running iOS 16.4 or later, after you add Uptimely to the home screen. On-call paging also reaches SMS and voice call, which do not depend on a browser at all.
Does it work offline?
No, and it does not claim to. Uptimely keeps no offline copy of your data — the installed app is the live product, so it needs a connection to show you what is happening right now. Monitoring itself runs on Uptimely's servers, so your checks keep running whether or not any device of yours is online.
Can I use Uptimely from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor?
Yes. Uptimely hosts a remote MCP server at app.getuptimely.com/api/mcp over Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.1, so an agent can read your monitors, incidents and status pages and — once you switch write operations on for the project — make changes. Every authorisation is listed and revocable under Connected AI apps in your settings.
Is the installed app a different price?
No. There is one Uptimely account and one plan, whichever way you open it. Installing costs nothing and changes no limit.
