Connect Uptimely to ChatGPT

Configure

Register the MCP server

  1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode (paid plans only; a Business workspace may need an admin to allow connectors first).
  2. Choose Create, paste https://app.getuptimely.com/api/mcp as the MCP server URL, and pick OAuth.
  3. Sign in when ChatGPT opens the Uptimely consent screen.

Authorize the connection

OAuth consent happens in the same flow. ChatGPT documents no link that pre-fills the endpoint, and it accepts remote HTTPS servers only.

Verify

Confirm it worked

Ask ChatGPT to call search_tools, then execute_typescript with return await external_uptimely_project_list({});. A client that lists uptimely_project_list as its own tool can call it directly. A JSON list of your projects — even an empty list — means the connection is live.

If you also configured the SDK or REST API, this should answer HTTP 200 with a JSON body whose data is a list of monitors:
