Scheduled maintenance
Planned windows, subscriber notices, and monitoring pauses.
Scheduled maintenance events announce planned work ahead of time and track it while it runs — so a deploy window doesn't read as an outage.
Lifecycle
A maintenance event carries a scheduled window and moves through its states (scheduled → ongoing → completed) automatically as the window opens and closes; you can also transition it manually. Events appear on status pages with their own timeline and public notes.
Reusable maintenance templates prefill recurring shapes of work.
Subscriber notifications
Status-page subscribers can be notified when maintenance is scheduled, when it starts, and when it ends. A reminder ahead of the window is supported — subscribers get warned before the work begins, not after.
Monitoring pause
A maintenance event can pause monitoring for the resources it covers while the window is active, so planned downtime doesn't declare incidents or page on-call.
