Delete your Uptimely account

Last updated: October 3, 2026

Uptimely is an uptime monitoring, status page and on-call app developed by Devino Solutions. This page explains how to delete your Uptimely account and the data that comes with it, in the app or by email, and what happens after you ask. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

1. Delete your account in the app

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from the Uptimely app on Android, iOS or the web:

  • Sign in to Uptimely (the app, or app.getuptimely.com).
  • Open the menu under your avatar, at the top right, and choose Account Settings.
  • Under Danger Zone, choose Delete Account.
  • Type your email address to confirm, then choose Delete account. You are signed out of that browser or device straight away.

Projects that only you are a member of are deleted with your account. If other people are still members of a project you are in, the app names that project and asks you to leave it first; for a project you created, remove its other members (Settings → Team members) or delete the project (Settings → Danger zone). If one of your projects, including one you deleted earlier, has a subscription that still renews, the app asks you to cancel it first: on the project's Billing page, or in Google Play or the App Store if you subscribed there (for a project you already deleted, in the store or by emailing us). Deleting an account does not cancel a store subscription on its own.

2. Ask us to delete it

If you cannot use the app, email support@getuptimely.com from the address you sign in with and ask us to delete your Uptimely account. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address, so that nobody else can delete your account. We act on the request within 30 days and delete the account the same way the in-app option does.

3. What is deleted

As soon as you delete your account:

  • you are signed out: at once on the browser or device you deleted it from, and within a few minutes on every other one;
  • your personal API keys, the AI apps you connected (MCP and OAuth), the Google and GitHub sign-in tokens we held and your Slack connection stop working and are removed;
  • your devices stop receiving push notifications, and your notification methods (phone numbers, email addresses, chat ids) are removed;
  • you are taken off every on-call schedule, escalation rule and override, and pages already waiting for you are cancelled;
  • every project only you are a member of is switched off: its monitors stop, its status pages go offline, and nobody is paged for it.

30 days after you delete it (the erasure runs once a day, so allow one more day):

  • your email address, name, profile picture, company details and phone numbers are erased, along with your password, your Google and GitHub sign-in links, your two-factor settings and your passkeys;
  • every project only you were a member of is permanently deleted, with all its monitors, check history, incidents, alerts, status pages, subscribers, on-call data, API webhooks and API usage records;
  • your AI Copilot conversations are deleted;
  • your phone numbers and email addresses are removed from the delivery logs and on-call history that mention you;
  • your person and events in our product analytics (PostHog), your customer record in our referral program (Dub), and the billing customers of the projects deleted with your account (RevenueCat) are deleted from those services.

4. What is kept, and for how long

  • Projects you share with other people stay with them. What you did there (for example acknowledging an incident) stays in that project's history, with your name, email address and phone numbers removed.
  • An empty account record (an internal id with no name, email address or other personal data) stays for as long as a shared project's history points at it.
  • Billing records. Invoices and payment records for paid subscriptions are kept by our payment processor (Stripe) and by Google Play or the App Store for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We keep an anonymous payment-customer reference with the deleted account record, so a refund or chargeback can still be matched.
  • A project whose subscription was renewed again after you deleted your account (in the App Store or Google Play) stays switched off, with its billing record, until that subscription stops renewing; it is then deleted like the others. Deleting it earlier would not stop the store charging.
  • Status-page subscriptions you made with your email address or phone number are separate from your account and are not ended by deleting it. Every status-page email and text has an unsubscribe link.
  • Refer & Earn partners: your partner profile and payout records stay with our partner platform for as long as payout and tax law requires. Email us to close it. For the same reason we keep the record of each referral sale a deleted project made (the amount, the date and the partner it paid).
  • Error reports and backups that may contain your user id or email address are deleted automatically when they reach the end of their retention period.

5. Changing your mind

For 30 days after you delete your account, our support team can restore it if you email support@getuptimely.com from the same address. The projects deleted with it come back too, with their monitors, status pages and history; a data check's upAPI key has to be entered again. After that the deletion is final; you can sign up again with the same email address, as a new account.
